Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina, seeks a Director of Employee Relations to lead enterprise-wide strategy, investigations, and risk mitigation across 4,000+ stores.

You will collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and HR Leaders to drive a fair, compliant workplace culture and proactive solutions that strengthen employee engagement. The role requires extensive experience in workplace investigations, strong employment-law knowledge, and proven leadership in multi-site environments,

Qualifications

• Extensive experience conducting and overseeing complex workplace investigations.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA).
• Experience advising senior leaders on complex employee matters.
• Proven ability to partner across functions and drive solutions in large, multi-site environments.
• Experience handling high-risk and confidential employee relations matters.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide employee relations strategies and policies.
• Lead and develop a team of Employee Relations professionals.
• Oversee investigations and ensure objective, compliant resolutions.
• Establish metrics and reporting for ER trends and risks.
• Advise executives on risk mitigation and policy practices.
