About the role
We are building a world-class organization and are seeking a hands-on, strategic leader to join our transformational People Team as the Director of Employee Experience. This is an exciting opportunity to take a strong foundation and build something truly exceptional. Over the past year, we’ve invested in building a best-in-class People function, implemented high-quality tools, provided our employees with rich and comprehensive benefits offerings, and launched high-impact talent programs around performance management, leadership development, and engagement. To fuel our next stage of growth, we're seeking an experienced builder to join the People leadership team and drive the evolution of Employee Experience at Human Interest.
In this role, you’ll be directly responsible for the design, development, delivery, and ongoing refinement of our people programs across the entire employee lifecycle. You’ll connect the dots across attraction, onboarding, development, retention, and engagement—ensuring every employee has the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive.
This is not a “sit back and strategize” role—success here will require creativity, operational excellence, and a deep passion for hands-on execution. You’ll partner closely with our People team, business leaders and key stakeholders, to ensure our programs aren’t just best practice—they’re driving real, measurable results for the business and our people.

Compensation - At Human Interest, there are a number of factors that are used to determine the appropriate pay range for each position. We take into account the cost of labor for each position in various markets across the US. The base salary for this position spans $180,000- $210,000and represents the minimum in our lowest geographic region to a maximumin our highest geographic region. The salary that we offer to a new employee within this range is based on their location within the US, their relevant job-related skills, and experience. At Human Interest, base salary is one component of the overall Total Rewards package. Depending on the position, additional compensation components such as equity may be offered. All of our employees are offered a robust suite of physical, financial and mental wellness benefits.
