Job summary

Comcast in Florida seeks an experienced Employee Relations leader to guide policy development and ensure legal compliance across the organization. This role partners with senior leadership to foster a positive workplace and address complex employee issues.

You will oversee policy updates, investigations into discrimination and harassment, and the design of training materials to educate staff on grievance processes, while driving engagement and adherence to FMLA, ADA, FLSA and Title VII.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Overseeing the update and refinement of Human Resources policies in accordance with evolving legislation and internal changes
• Leading the oversight of internal investigations into discrimination, harassment, and employee disputes, ensuring fair resolution
• Directing the development and implementation of Employee Relations strategies, policies, and programs to support organizational objectives
• Designing training and communication materials to educate staff on workplace expectations and the grievance process
• Championing a respectful work environment by modeling desired behaviors and consistently applying HR policies
• Managing compliance with employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and Title VII, through thorough investigations and resolutions
• Facilitating sensitive counseling sessions on EEO, ADA, performance issues, and terminations, providing expert guidance
• Conducting employee engagement initiatives, such as focus groups and surveys, to gather feedback and drive satisfaction
• Collaborating with senior leadership to develop and implement action plans based on employee feedback, enhancing workplace relations
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
