Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher in a relevant field and experience in higher education.
• Seven+ years of professional experience in education, technology, or research.
• Ability to translate emerging technologies into practical academic programs and offerings.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex tech for nontechnical audiences.
• Strong ethics-focused approach to AI and technology governance.
• Proven collaboration across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Establish annual CET priorities and manage a portfolio of initiatives.
• Lead cross‑functional work with faculty, ITS, CETL, CIE, OCR, and ORI.
• Develop a framework for student fluency in emerging technologies including AI.
• Identify curricular opportunities and support interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Oversee budgets, staff, fellows, and external partnerships.
• Represent UNE in internal and external discussions on emerging tech.
