Job summary

MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. seeks a Director for Trade Emerging Markets to guide underwriting and economic strategy for global trade initiatives.

You will lead financial models, pricing assumptions, and business cases to drive client value and EBITDA growth. You will manage cross-functional teams, align vendor and internal stakeholders, and communicate executive-level recommendations on opportunities and risks.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree required or equivalent; plus 12 years’ related experience; 10 years of SME in respective area(s); and 8 years supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Experience with SQL, database applications, financial modeling tools, reporting platforms, and enterprise project tracking tools is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial, operational, and strategic considerations into clear recommendations.
• Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, delegation, prioritization, performance management, team development, and the ability to lead through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Direct underwriting strategy and economic evaluation for complex trade initiatives, including wholesale strategy and international sourcing.
• Lead development of enterprise business cases, financial models, pricing assumptions, margin analyses, and client value propositions.
• Establish underwriting frameworks, governance processes, and decision criteria to ensure viable, executable strategies.
• Partner across the enterprise to evaluate program impacts across rebates, costs, formulary strategy, invoicing, and reporting.
• Own and maintain emerging market program roadmaps, event assessments, and performance tracking.
