Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Oregon, seeks a Director of the Emergency Department to provide nursing and operational leadership for a 44-bed unit. The role reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and will oversee about 200 FTEs, including two direct reports, focusing on patient flow, length of stay, and the opening of additional beds and an observation unit.

Qualifications

BSN required; MSN preferred.
Active RN license required.
Minimum five years of progressive nursing leadership experience in an Emergency Department required.
CNML certification and completion of TNCC preferred.

Responsabilités

Provide nursing and operational leadership for a 44-bed ED unit.
Oversee ~200 FTEs and two direct reports; set standards and provide resources.
Improve patient flow, reduce length of stay and patient holds; support opening of additional beds and an observation unit.
Partner with staff and providers to advance vertical care; mentor manager and supervisor.
Utilize Epic and performance data to guide improvements in a unionized environment.
