AdventHealth Tampa is a 626-bed faith-based not-for-profit hospital specializing in cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience, digestive health, orthopedics, women’s services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine, and general surgery, including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. It hosts GME programs in general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and transitional year. It is home to the AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute and the Kiran C. Patel Research Institute, leading in cardiovascular disease prevention and clinical research, respectively.
The role you’ll contribute:
The Director, Emergency Department, is responsible for 24-hour clinical operations and fiscal management of emergency services, including adult and pediatric emergency departments, off-site emergency sites, and observation units. Duties include planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the delivery of care to ensure safety, effectiveness, and cost efficiency, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. The director ensures the provision of high-quality nursing services, collaborates with leadership, physicians, and community partners, and performs other duties as assigned.
