Job summary
The University of North Georgia seeks a Director of Sports Performance to lead a high-performance environment supporting all student-athletes. You will collaborate with coaches, sports medicine, and performance staff to develop evidence-informed strength and conditioning programs and foster a culture of preparation, discipline and accountability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required. (Preferably in exercise science or closely related field)
- Two years of demonstrated experience working in a collegiate or professional sports strength and conditioning environment
- CSCS or CSCCa certification required at hire; CPR and First Aid certification also required
Responsibilities
- Leads and administers the overall sports performance program for UNG Athletics
- Provides hands-on leadership in the athletic performance facility with high training standards
- Mentors and develops graduate assistant coaches and staff
- Collaborates with head coaches to meet sport-specific needs and goals
- Establishes testing, benchmarking and progress-tracking systems for athletes
- Works with sports medicine and athletics staff to support athlete health and safety
- Manages the master schedule for the performance facility
- Performs other duties per leadership requests
