Job summary

Siemens in Peachtree Corners, GA seeks a Director of R&D for Electronics and Software to lead development across electronics, embedded software, systems and testing for circuit protection and electrical distribution products. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, partner with Product Management on roadmaps, and balance feasibility, cost, manufacturability and regulatory compliance.

This is an onsite leadership role overseeing the Peachtree Corners lab and coordinating with Tucker facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
10+ years in electrical power products industry including residential power control systems.
Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams and resolving cross-functional issues.
Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and certification requirements (UL, NEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA).
Willingness to travel up to 25% and to work onsite regularly.

Responsibilities

Lead product and technology development for electronics, embedded software, systems, and testing.
Guide product roadmaps and balance feasibility, cost, manufacturability, and compliance.
Collaborate with Product Management and manufacturing to translate needs into feasible plans.
Drive products to improve revenue, reduce costs, and meet industry standards.
Manage R&D resources, managers, and contributors to maximize delivery and collaboration.
Oversee Peachtree Corners electronics lab and coordinate with Tucker facilities.
