Job summary

Homecare Homebase, part of Hearst Health, seeks a Director of Product Management—EHR/Clinical in Dallas to own the investment case and external roadmap, leading PMs and POs delivering it.

You will partner across finance, execs, product, design and regulatory teams to invest wisely, promise what is feasible, and adapt to evolving healthcare requirements. Hybrid work in Dallas, focused on reducing clinician documentation burden.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience
• 3+ years leading product managers or product owners
• Direct experience owning clinical or EHR products within a healthcare software company or health system
• Experience building and defending capital or investment requests, including the ROI model behind them
• Demonstrated ownership of a roadmap with external customer commitments
• Experience delivering against regulatory deadlines
• Ability to lead through product managers and product owners
• Experience with clinical documentation and workflow
• Knowledge of CMS rules and state mandates
• Working knowledge of interoperability standards and health information exchange

Responsibilities

• Build and defend the investment case for the EHR and clinical work stream
• Allocate approved capital across teams and initiatives
• Own the work stream roadmap and establish clear readiness tiers
• Resolve sequencing and dependency conflicts across teams
• Lead the product manager and product owner staffing plan
• Ensure regulatory changes reach the roadmap early enough to plan effectively
• Forecast needs with design and regulatory services
• Make decisions on funding and roadmap commitments
• Improve high-volume clinical workflows
• Guide product direction across documentation, assessments, plans of care, visit documentation, medication management, orders, mobile and offline workflows, and interoperability
