Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Director of EDG Operations & Programme Management to act as the strategic right hand to the Head of Data Governance. This senior leader will own headcount planning, budgets, the programme portfolio, communications, and the rhythm that keeps a multi-workstream EDG function running at pace.

Responsibilities cover operating model design, financial discipline, and a consolidated view of the CDO portfolio across Data Catalog, Master Data, Data Quality, and client-facing governance

Qualifications

• 8+ years in operations, programme management, or chief-of-staff roles within technology or data organisations.
• At least 3 years in a Director-level or equivalent role.
• Proven track record owning multi-million dollar budgets and presenting to executives.
• Strong programme governance across multiple workstreams and clear stakeholder management.
• Executive-level communication and reporting capabilities.
• Experience with data governance, data management, or analytics domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead EDG's headcount strategy, workforce planning, and hiring lifecycle with HR and Talent Acquisition.
• Define and drive Learning & Development strategies for a multi-discipline team.
• Set operating cadence with regular leadership meetings and clear agendas.
• Own EDG's internal knowledge infrastructure and communities of practice.
• Direct programme management across EDG's core services and maintain a consolidated status view.
• Develop business cases for new initiatives and navigate executive approvals.
• Govern budgeting, cost recovery, and procurement across the CDO portfolio.
• Lead EDG's communications strategy and external/internal narrative.
