Job summary

Yeshivat Noam in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Director of Early Childhood Support Services to lead interventions for preschool and early elementary students with social, emotional, and developmental needs. You will work closely with the Early Childhood Director, the Reading specialist, and teachers across Pre-K Buds and Kindergarten to support student success.

You will supervise staff in an inclusive classroom, observe classrooms, provide feedback, and coordinate Bergen County support services,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education is required.
• Experience with PreK and Kindergarten children.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, professional.
• Ability to interact with staff, parents, and colleagues respectfully.
• Capacity to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and implement interventions to classroom staff to ensure all students succeed.
• Work with teachers to help students with executive function skills.
• Teach Mindfulness and Social-Emotional Learning; lead Social Skills groups.
