Job summary

Audubon Companies seeks a Director of E&I Construction to lead the Houston-based E&I program from estimating through field execution and closeout. This role develops a capable team of E&I specialists, sets standards, and manages subcontractors to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule goals.

You will drive strategic direction, oversee governance, and ensure consistency across projects. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in E&I, strong leadership, and deep industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience leading E&I construction programs and teams.
• Ability to establish and optimize subcontractor oversight processes.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, cost, and schedule controls.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and manage Audubon’s E&I construction program and governance.
• Develop a team of E&I specialists supporting project teams and subs.
• Establish subcontractor qualification, approval, and roster processes.
• Lead E&I subcontracting strategy, RFI, bid evaluation, and awards.
• Review project requirements, plans, budgets, and risk to enable execution.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations.
