Job description

As the Director of E-Commerce Packaging Sales, you will manage and develop relationships with key eCommerce customers in North America to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction in the mailer bag sector. You will serve as the primary contact for designated accounts, understanding their needs, providing solutions, and coordinating internal resources. Your strategic account management will help strengthen our position as a preferred packaging industry partner. This role involves direct sales and managing select strategic customers. The position reports to the Romeoville HQ and can be based remotely in the Seattle, WA area or in Romeoville, with extensive travel required.

Your Mission:
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for mailer bag packaging sales to key eCommerce customers, aligned with sales objectives.
  • Lead Key Account Managers and Sales Executives to achieve the annual business plan.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at customer organizations.
  • Understand each account's needs and proactively propose innovative packaging solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, design, production, and logistics teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Drive sales growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to ensure mutual benefits and long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor account performance, sales metrics, and market trends to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Provide forecasts, reports, and updates on key account activities to senior management.
  • Address customer inquiries and issues promptly, serving as a trusted advisor.
Your Profile:
  • At least 5 years of success in B2B sales leadership roles.
  • Experience selling mailer bags or packaging solutions to eCommerce businesses.
  • 3 to 5 years leading a team of 2-3 direct reports.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
