Job summary

Nurix Therapeutics seeks a Director of Drug Safety to lead medical safety strategy for its clinical programs, guiding safety reviews and benefit–risk assessments across the development pipeline. The role emphasizes aggregate safety analyses, regulatory interactions, and proactive risk management.

You will collaborate with clinical development, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, and safety operations to shape global safety strategy, respond to authorities, and support inspections.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (MD/DO/PharmD or equivalent).
• 5–10 years in pharmacovigilance/drug safety in pharma/biotech.
• Experience with early clinical development and small biotechnology companies.
• Knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations (ICH, FDA, EMA, MHRA).

Responsibilities

• Serve as medical safety lead for assigned products.
• Lead aggregate safety data analysis for signal detection and risk characterization.
• Review safety data and contribute to benefit–risk assessments.
• Provide clinical leadership during inspections and audits related to safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure global safety strategy.
