Job summary

Nurix Therapeutics is seeking a senior leader to build and run pharmacovigilance operations across its growing clinical portfolio. You will own the end-to-end ICSR model, safety systems, vendor oversight, and inspection readiness while shaping the strategy and building the team from the ground up.

You will report to the Head of PV, mentor the PVO team, and partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure timeliness, quality, and regulatory compliance for global safety data activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years in pharmacovigilance/drug safety with leadership experience.
• Deep PV operations and ICSR management across clinical development with commercial readiness.
• Experience building or transforming PV operations in a biotech environment.
• Experience managing PV vendors and CROs with KPI/KQI governance.
• Experience owning PV budgets, forecasting, and invoicing.
• Experience leading or supporting regulatory inspections and audits.
• Experience with safety database implementations or transitions.
• Proven ability to author and govern SOPs and quality documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead end-to-end pharmacovigilance operations aligned to corporate objectives.
• Own ICSR management framework and ensure timeliness, quality, and compliance.
• Oversee global safety data outputs for reports, signals, and authority requests.
• Lead PVO strategy, budgeting, vendor oversight, and inspection readiness.
• Drive automation, KPI tracking, and process improvements across PV systems.
• Mentor and expand the PVO team and manage CRO/vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, and Medical Safety on data and documents.
