Job summary

Merck & Co. in Wilmington seeks a Director of Operations for Drug Product to lead high-potent biologics production in a state-of-the-art facility.

You will guide cross-functional teams, oversee commercial and new product drug product manufacturing, and champion Lean and cGMP excellence in a start-up environment for ADCs. You will drive technology transfers, performance metrics, and continuous learning while managing quality and safety across the site, ensuring reliable supply and strategic site

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Technical, or related field.
• 12+ years industry experience with leadership of cross-functional teams.
• Bi biotech/pharma manufacturing site experience in drug product sterile manufacturing.
• Experience manufacturing clinical and commercial products.
• Understanding of cGMP for high-potent ADC drug product.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects at the Wilmington Biotech facility to ensure objectives meet requirements.
• Oversee drug product manufacturing for commercial and new products.
• Drive technology transfers, lean process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration.
