Job summary

Seattle Children's in Seattle, WA is seeking a Director of Donor and Leadership Relations who will inspire major gifts and guide strategic communications across philanthropy, executive leadership, marketing and donor engagement to create a cohesive donor experience.

This role leads campaign communications, partners with Donor Experience leadership, MarComm, CDO and CEO to support board engagement and leadership events, and mentors staff while aligning donors with Seattle Children's mission.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years experience in a fundraising environment or non-profit organization.
Minimum 5 years management experience, including staff supervision and budget preparation/monitoring.
At least 3 years of development experience in higher education or health care environment.
Donor relations or communications experience.

Responsibilities

Program development and personnel management.
Endowment and key fund reporting, acknowledgment, and donor impact reporting.
Collaborate with staff across the organization to ensure Donor and Leadership Relations efforts align with Donor Experience objectives.
Supervise staff and contract vendors.
