Job summary

Harvard University is seeking a Director of Stewardship Reporting to lead strategic donor impact reporting across funds, scholarships, and capital projects. You will translate institutional outcomes into compelling narratives that deepen donor engagement and drive philanthropic growth.

This role reports to the Executive Director of Stewardship and Donor Engagement, partnering with Advancement, Academic Affairs, Institutional Research, Finance, and Communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years in higher education advancement or donor relations.
• 8-10+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience with donor stewardship reporting and higher education metrics.
• Occasional night and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead donor impact reporting programs across endowed funds, scholarships, and capital projects.
• Oversee the creation of annual reports and impact narratives for major gifts and foundations.
• Serve as a senior advisor on stewardship strategy and reporting standards.
• Manage a donor reporting team and coordinate with Advancement, Academic Affairs, Institutional Research, Finance, and Communications.
• Support campaign reporting and donor recognition initiatives.
