Job summary

National Life Group seeks a senior leader to head its newly established Distribution Finance Business Solutions team. You’ll drive data, reporting, analytics, and system-enabled solutions across commissions, debt, sales, and incentives, while ensuring accurate weekly agent payroll and strong cross-functional partnerships.

You will set strategy, align with finance, IT, and distribution stakeholders, coach a team of six, and guide the department through regulatory and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 14+ years related experience.
• Proven people leadership and team development experience.
• Experience analyzing complex business information to develop data, reporting, analytics, process, or system-enabled solutions.
• Experience partnering with IT and business stakeholders on requirements and solutions.
• Experience creating reporting and analytics using Tableau.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships across Distribution, Finance, IT and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop the Distribution Finance Business Solutions team for data, reporting, analytics, and system-enabled solutions.
• Set strategy, priorities, standards, and operating model for the team.
• Lead analysis of complex needs across commissions, debt, sales, and incentives to clarify requirements and develop solutions.
• Develop dashboards, self-service analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities for stakeholders.
• Oversee the weekly agent payroll process ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Partner with IT on requirements, design, testing, and release validation.
