Job summary

Caltrain is seeking a Director for the Diridon Station Program to oversee all aspects of contract management, stakeholder coordination, and staff oversight for this major redevelopment initiative.

The role will supervise program staff, manage environmental clearance processes, and coordinate with partner agencies to advance multimodal transportation goals in a project spanning Millbrae and San Jose, CA. This is a limited 3-year term, in-office role requiring minimum 3 days on-site per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, engineering or related field.
• 7 years of full-time progressively responsible management experience including CEQA/NEPA project management.
• 3 years of supervisory or management experience
• Experience with large-scale, multimodal transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multidisciplinary technical studies related to Diridon Station Program.
• Manage planning and engineering consultants for environmental clearance, transit planning and operations and design.
• Coordinate with program partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with goals.
