Job summary

Accendra Health seeks a Director of Direct Procurement & Category Management to lead enterprise-wide strategies for direct materials, components, and manufacturing inputs. You will partner with Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and Finance to ensure reliable supply, quality, and cost optimization across the organization.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, supplier relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver patient-focused outcomes and sustained growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years progressive procurement experience with healthcare products or related fields.
• 5+ years leadership experience managing procurement or category teams.
• Strong knowledge of category management, supplier risk, and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute direct procurement and category strategies for production-related spend.
• Lead supply continuity and risk mitigation for critical healthcare products.
• Oversee category strategy, supplier segmentation, and total-cost analyses.
• Lead executive negotiations and supplier governance programs.
• Partner with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Operations for compliance.
