Job summary

Accendra Health seeks a Director of Direct Procurement & Category Management to lead sourcing of direct materials, packaging, and contract manufacturing. You will work with Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Product Management and Finance to ensure reliable supply and competitive costs.

Focus areas include supplier governance, risk management, and long-range planning, with executive negotiations and category leadership to support patient outcomes and corporate growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years procurement, sourcing, or category management experience in healthcare or related industry.
• Experience leading direct material sourcing strategies and supplier management programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide direct procurement and category strategies.
• Lead supply continuity, risk management, and supplier governance programs.
• Drive negotiations for long-term agreements and strategic partnerships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align sourcing with quality and regulatory goals.
• Provide executive reporting on spend, supplier performance, and value realization.
