Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Director of CMC Digital Operations and Strategic Portfolio Management to own a defined portfolio of digital initiatives across CMC Digital and TPM. You will translate priorities into 1–2 year outcomes, lead governance, and partner with Digital, CMC, TPM, and Finance to ensure delivery aligns with enterprise goals.

You will drive value through data-driven dashboards, risk management, and executive-level communication, while embedding security and compliance in portfolio

Qualifications

• Experience owning complex cross-functional digital programs or portfolios.
• Strong governance, prioritization, OKRs/KPIs, risk management and executive reporting.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Financial and operational management skills including budgeting and capacity planning.
• Excellent communication and influence skills with senior leaders.
• Knowledge of Agile practices and modern digital delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the operational plan for a defined CMC Digital portfolio with 1–2 year outcomes.
• Lead governance rhythms: prioritization, dependency reviews, steering and executive updates.
• Partner across Digital, CMC, TPM, Finance, and Operations to align initiatives to value.
• Identify blockers, escalate with options, and ensure durable follow-through.
• Co-create the portfolio operating model, intake, capacity planning, and runbooks.
• Build executive dashboards and narratives linking strategy, risk, and impact.
• Translate complex roadmaps into clear value stories for senior stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional working groups to promote alignment and transparency.
• Drive resource planning and multi-vendor delivery while optimizing cost and risk.
• Track budgets and investment trade-offs with Finance and Operations.
• Embed security, privacy, compliance, and audit-ready practices.
