Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Director II Digital Operations to lead strategic initiatives across Government and Commercial claims in a hybrid, in-office at least 3 days per week model across Atlanta, Tampa, and other locations.

The role focuses on demand alignment, governance, and scalable digitization with a strong emphasis on automation, product health, risk visibility, and executive decision support.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 8+ years leading technology teams or cross-functional projects.
• 7+ years of management experience.
• Health insurance industry experience preferred.
• Experience leading claims technology or operations across Government and Commercial lines.
• Product management, portfolio governance, roadmap, backlog, and lifecycle ownership experience.
• Experience with intake governance, demand prioritization, capacity planning, and production-support models.
• Working knowledge of automation, AI-enabled delivery, configuration-first solutions, and automated testing.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional transformations and advising executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Aligns demand, roadmaps, capacity, and governance to deliver scalable solutions across Government and Commercial claims.
• Advances execution through disciplined intake, automation, configuration-first delivery, and product lifecycle management.
• Establishes intake, prioritization, and portfolio governance to focus on high-value work.
• Improves delivery speed, first-pass quality, and throughput by reducing rework and handoffs.
• Partners with business, IT, Compliance, Audit, WFM and other stakeholders to enable sustainable outcomes.
• Leads strategic work streams for transformational priorities and manages multiple projects.
