Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience in the area of assignment, of which at least one is supervisory or in a lead‑worker capacity; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and directs activities related to Digital Media Commons and Makerspace operations.
• Oversees activities related to programs, services, technologies, and spaces provided by the department.
• Serves on the Library Leadership Council and leads department planning and policy development.
• Leads department-level implementation of strategic goals and manages budgeting.
• Maintains records and coordinates training for staff and patrons.
• Gathers statistics to inform improvements and develop new programs.
• Supervises staff including recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Collaborates on programming, instruction, and assessment.
• Oversees safety, security, and facility management within the department.
• Communicates policies and promotes DMC services across campus.
