Job summary

Intuitive Surgical is seeking a Corporate Development Director for its Digital Product (Finance) unit in Sunnyvale. The role leads external growth opportunities from sourcing to integration, including equity investments, partnerships, licensing, and M&A.

You will collaborate with Digital, Strategy, Finance, and Legal to advance technology platforms and strategic position, while managing post-transaction relationships and reporting to executives.

Qualifications

• Ten (10+) years of professional experience in medical device, life sciences, or technology investment/finance.
• Experience developing or selling healthcare data analytics products is a plus.
• Prior transactional experience including corporate development and M&A is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional evaluation of external technology opportunities for strategic, commercial, and product fit with Intuitive's Digital business.
• Own transactions end to end: outreach, business cases, structuring, negotiation, due diligence, contracting, integration planning, closing.
• Partner with product, strategy, and finance teams to shape roadmaps and external development needs.
• Represent Intuitive's strategic interests externally and provide deal updates and recommendations to senior leaders and the Board.
