Job summary

Danaher is hiring for a Director, Digital Brand Marketing & AI strategy to translate global brand strategy into a high-performing digital experience. The role is on-site in Boston or Washington, DC, leading AI-powered digital strategies across channels and building scalable content systems.

You will embed AI into marketing, partner with data science and IT, deploy AI-enabled content creation, and optimize media and conversion with machine learning. 15% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in digital marketing, growth, or brand activation roles.
• Proven experience managing global, multi-channel digital ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of brand strategy, storytelling, and performance marketing (SEO/SEM/AEO).
• Data-driven marketer skilled in AI-enabled marketing, analytics, measurement, and agile optimization.
• Proven success navigating complex, matrixed organizations, preferably in B2B or life sciences.

The Director, Digital Brand Marketing & AI strategy is responsible for translating our global brand strategy into a high-performing digital experience across every channel, while embedding AI into how we create, distribute and optimize content at scale. This is not a traditional digital marketing role. This is a builder-operator role, for someone who can architect modern, AI-powered digital strategies and execute them with speed, precision, and measurable impact. You will sit at the intersection of brand and business growth.

This position reports to the VP, Corporate Brand and Marketing Strategy and is part of the Danaher Corporate Communications team located in either our Washington, DC or Boston Seaport office as a fully on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Activate the Danaher Brand Across the Global Digital Ecosystem
• Lead end-to-end strategy and execution across all digital channels, including:
• Corporate website and ecosystem
• SEO/SEM and performance marketing
• Organic and paid social (LinkedIn, YouTube, emerging platforms)
• CRM and lifecycle marketing
• Content platforms and digital storytelling hubs
• Translate global brand strategy into digitally native experiences that drive awareness, engagement, and measurable business impact
• Ensure consistency with flexibility, maintaining brand integrity while enabling OpCost localize for relevance

• Embed AI Into the Core of Enterprise Brand Marketing
• Act as the embedded AI champion within Corporate Brand Marketing
• Partner closely with data science, IT, and external partners to:
• Deploy AI-enabled content creation and personalization
• Optimize media, targeting, and conversion through machine learning
• Scale insights through predictive analytics and automation
• Identify and pilot next-generation capabilities (generative AI, dynamic content assembly, intelligent workflows)
• Build repeatable frameworks that embed AI into how we operate—not just what we test

• Build and Orchestrate Global Content That Drives Growth
• Lead the development and execution of an integrated, global digital content and storytelling funnel
• Ensure alignment across Corporate, OpCos, and regions - connecting brand to commercial outcomes
• Drive full-funnel Brand performance
• Create modular, scalable content systems that can flex and scale
• Operate with Danaher Business System (DBS) Discipline
• Establish clear KPIs
• Build and manage dashboards to track performance
• Use DBS tools to continuously improve speed, quality, and effectiveness
• Turb data into action - rapidly iterating and scaling

• Balance Strategy + Execution
• Move seamlessly between:
• Strategic design (architecting global frameworks)
• Hands-on execution (launching, optimizing channels)
• Act with urgency and agility, prioritizing what drives the most impact

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• 8–12+ years in digital marketing, growth, or brand activation roles
• Proven experience managing global, multi-channel digital ecosystems
• Strong understanding of:
• Expertise in brand strategy, storytelling, and performance marketing (SEO/SEM/AEO).
• Data-driven marketer skilled in AI-enabled marketing, analytics, measurement, and agile optimization.
• Proven success navigating complex, matrixed organizations, preferably in B2B or life sciences.
• Ability to translate marketing investments into measurable business growth, customer engagement, and commercial impact.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Ability to travel up to 15% to other Danaher sites and conferences, with some international travel

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Developing and/or leading a cohesive, high-performing global digital ecosystem aligned to brand strategy
• AI embedded into core workflows, unlocking speed, personalization, and scale
• Measurable and proven impact on brand strength

The annual salary range for this role is $160,000 - $195,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
