Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Dallas seeks a Director for Global Financial Crimes Sanctions Screening Controls. You will lead the design, implementation, and governance of the sanctions screening control framework across reference data and transactions.

The role requires 5+ years in sanctions or AML risk within a regulated financial institution or digital asset firm, strong analytical skills, and experience documenting requirements and controls. In-person interviews; relocation to Dallas may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant discipline.
• 5+ years in sanctions, AML, or risk management in regulated finance or digital assets.
• Strong business analysis, requirements definition, and cross-functional delivery in Agile/SDLC environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute and enhance the digital assets sanctions screening program through requirements definition and cross-functional delivery.
• Document regulatory/control requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and testable tech deliverables.
• Support roadmap planning, prioritization, risk management, and remediation through closure.
• Perform data analysis to optimize screening and improve alert quality.
• Create test plans, coordinate UAT and operational readiness, maintain audit-ready docs.
