Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Dallas seeks a Global Financial Crimes (GFC) Data Testing Lead at VP level to design and oversee a risk-based data testing framework for upstream clients, asset movement, and referential data feeding GFC models.

You will work with IT and GFC to publish data quality rules, monitor data quality, and drive metrics across Global Financial Crimes, aiming for timely remediation of issues. ACAMS or equivalent certification is required within the first 15 months.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in risk, controls, and data governance.
  • Ability to solicit information from stakeholders at various levels.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis methodologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • ACAMS or equivalent certification preferred; or certification within first 15 months of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Publish a data testing framework, procedures, and a plan to test GFC data input and outputs on a risk-based approach.
  • Identify critical data elements and data quality rules for data quality management.
  • Partner with IT to catalog Data Quality rules.
  • Collaborate with IT and GFC to identify and resolve Data Quality Exceptions.
  • Provide timely and accurate metrics and reporting of Data Quality across Global Financial Crimes.
  • Obtain ACAMS or equivalent certification within 15 months of employment.
