Job summary

ThedaCare is seeking a Program Director for Diagnostic Medical Sonography to oversee the DMS program’s administration, development and overall effectiveness. You will supervise didactic and clinical faculty, coordinate student recruitment and placement, and guide curriculum with clear learning outcomes.

Minimum five years as a registered sonographer and an accredited DMS program background are required, with ARDMS/ARRT certification and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited DMS training program.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT certification is required.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience as a registered sonographer.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees administration and ongoing development of the DMS program.
• Supervises didactic and clinical faculty.
• Coordinates recruitment, advising, and placement of students.
• Develops curriculum and evaluates course instruction.
• Ensures compliance with JRC-DMS accreditation.
• Collaborates with radiologists to monitor quality control.
