Job summary

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Virginia, seeks a Director of Diagnostic Imaging to lead daily operations, oversee patient care in imaging, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role manages HR processes for the imaging team and drives safety oversight per ALARA guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT certification with 7+ years in radiologic technology, plus 2+ years in a supervisory role, and a hospital-based education program graduate.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years of progressively responsible Radiologic Technology experience in an approved hospital or similar institution.
• Two (2) years experience in a supervisory/managerial capacity.
• ARRT certification required; Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees planning, organization and management of the daily operations of the Imaging Department.
• Oversees direct patient care activities in the Imaging Department.
• Manages Human Resources for Imaging Department, including employee educational files compliance.
• Monitors KRONOS and productivity daily for all Imaging modalities.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory agencies within Imaging and radiation safety per ALARA guidelines, chairing Radiation Safety Committee.
