Job summary

MSD in North Wales, PA, is seeking a Director, DHT Coordinator for GDMS Data Integration and Automation. This hybrid role leads strategy, governance, and end-to-end DHT delivery across a Therapeutic Area, ensuring risk management, compliance (GxP, Part 11) and alignment with enterprise data strategy.

The incumbent will drive lifecycle management, oversee service providers, and build capability through training and mentorship to ensure operational excellence across multiple studies and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in life sciences, computer science, engineering or related discipline with 10+ years’ experience in eCOA/DHT or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrate deep subject matter expertise; people management skills.
• Advanced degree (Masters/Doctorate) with 8+ years’ experience in eCOA/DHT or equivalent relevant industry experience; demonstrate subject matter expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead DHT system delivery across Therapeutic Area ensuring SDLC compliance and audit-ready documentation.
• Oversee end-to-end data management activities across studies and systems with regulatory considerations.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance on design trade-offs, and complex data mapping/reporting.
• Establish TA-wide standards, templates, and design patterns for DHT setup, flows, and reporting.
• Drive process optimization, templates, test automation, dashboards, and adoption across service providers.
• Mentor teams and drive capability building, succession planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
