Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Director of Design Quality to lead the design quality for infusion systems products, including pumps, sets, and software. You will drive quality strategies, oversee lifecycle management, and ensure regulatory alignment across global teams.

You are a hands-on leader who fosters collaboration, sets priorities, and delivers high-quality results in a fast-paced environment with ongoing system improvements and industry engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering, science, or related field required; Advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in quality or engineering, 7+ years managerial experience.
• Deep understanding of medical device, biologics, and combination product development cycles.
• Strong knowledge of worldwide regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Design Quality professionals responsible for product development and lifecycle management.
• Develop and implement comprehensive design quality strategies aligned with goals and regulatory needs.
• Establish and monitor design quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as subject matter expert on design quality to cross-functional teams and partners.
• Collaborate with Quality System stewards to maintain and improve the Quality System.
