Job summary

WellBiz Brands, Inc. is seeking a Director of Design & Construction to lead construction support for all new locations, remodels, and relocations across the portfolio. You will manage vendors, oversees permitting, review drawings, and ensure brand standards across projects.

The role requires collaboration with Sales, Real Estate, Design, Operations, NSO, and Marketing, plus oversight of Construction Managers and Project Managers as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years in franchise systems and project ownership by franchisees.
• Proven construction or project management experience.
• Strong understanding of site development, codes, and design concepts.
• Ability to lead a team and communicate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Support construction for all new locations across the portfolio.
• Coordinate with Design, Operations, Real Estate, Marketing, and NSO teams.
• Lead weekly calls with franchise owners, NSO, and vendors.
• Coordinate architects, surveys, permits, and on-site drawings.
• Review site surveys for viability, zoning, and costs.
• Oversee documents, permits, signage, and vendor deliverables.
• Review and redline architectural/MEP drawings with architects.
• Approve exterior signage and interior graphics for branding.
• Provide status updates and track milestones in the project plan.
