Job summary

Envista is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Process Development to lead global process development, scale-up, validation, and transfer for dental consumables in an FDA/ISO-regulated environment. The role requires onsite presence in Pomona, CA four days a week, reporting to the VP of Innovation & R&D.

You will bridge R&D, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Supply Chain, driving readiness, risk management, and technical ownership while building a high-performing engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in process development or manufacturing.
• Experience leading a diverse engineering team and cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop process development strategy for scale-up, validation, and lifecycle support.
• Lead a process engineering team with strong accountability and succession planning.
• Develop scalable manufacturing platforms and reusable process technologies.
• Drive adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies and automation.
• Partner with product teams to embed design-for-manufacturability early.
