Job summary

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree is required and the applicant must be a registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from a CODA‑accredited program.
• Maryland license to practice dental hygiene and be certified to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.
• Minimum of five years (or equivalent), full‑time, clinical experience.
• Didactic and/or clinical teaching experience.
• Ability to meet faculty requirements as outlined in CODA standards.
• Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, student evaluation and outcome assessment.

Responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-range planning objectives for the DHY program and manage the program budget.
• Oversee DHY curriculum, labs, and clinic operations and ensure CODA standards compliance.
• Recruit and supervise faculty; coordinate course offerings and textbook selections.
• Ensure coordination of classes across fall, spring, and summer terms and assist admissions outreach.
• Maintain program learning outcomes and alignment with accreditation standards.
• Serve as instructor with release time and participate in advisory committee activities.
