Job summary

Huntsman Cancer Institute seeks an DCT Operations Administrator to advance decentralized and hybrid clinical trials across the Mountain West region, expanding access to trials beyond Salt Lake City. The role leads operational, programmatic efforts and hub-and-spoke infrastructure development with external partners and community sites.

The position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliance with FDA/ICH-GCP and sponsor requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 4–6 years management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in planning and directing employees and processes.
• Patient-sensitive role requiring immunization per CDC standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as operational administrator for decentralized and hybrid clinical trials across Mountain West.
• Design, implement, and manage hub-and-spoke operations for trial services across settings.
• Liaise with external entities, regional partners, sponsors, investigators, and communities.
• Lead planning and ongoing management of virtual visits, eConsent, remote data capture, and home-based services.
• Coordinate contracts, service agreements, and operational relationships supporting DCT activities.
• Advance the DCT initiative aligning with Rural Healthcare and Area We Serve priorities.
• Activate and manage participating sites and service partners with consistent workflows.
• Identify operational gaps and implement scalable solutions to improve access and quality.
• Provide training and mentorship on decentralized workflows and GCP in remote settings.
• Represent HCI in regional discussions on trial delivery, partnerships, and sustainable models.
