Job summary

Rex is seeking a Director, Debt Capital Markets to own the debt strategy for a growing multifamily portfolio. The role emphasizes downside-first financing, cross-functional collaboration, and strong lender relationships to optimize capital costs.

Fully remote role with a mission-driven culture. You will lead debt placement, modeling, and capital-structure decisions that protect investor equity and enable scalable growth across Rex’s platforms.

Qualifications

7–10 years of multifamily debt experience in capital markets or at an owner-operator/agency lender.
Direct, hands-on execution experience with agency debt and related structures.
Strong lender relationships and market intelligence for multiple capital sources.

Responsibilities

Own debt strategy across the multifamily portfolio and structure acquisitions and refinances.
Run competitive financing processes with multiple lender groups and document prep.
Maintain maturity/covenant calendars and manage 12–24 month refinance planning.
Develop new capital sources and optimize the capital stack while protecting investor equity.
Collaborate with asset/property management to maximize operating performance.
