Our client, a well-established mechanical contractor in the Columbus area, is looking for a Chief Estimator to lead its estimating team and shape how the company wins work, including design-build and energy projects.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and prioritize the estimating team across all project bids
• Partner with the executive team to evaluate opportunities and run the weekly bid calendar
• Review plans and specs to ensure complete, accurate scope coverage
• Identify project risks and build mitigation into every estimate
• Hand off winning bids to operations with a smooth project kickoff

What you bring:

• 8+ years estimating HVAC and/or plumbing projects
• Strong skills in estimating software, especially QuickPen
• Solid technical knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems
• A leader's mindset: organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
