Sacramento Kings are leveraging data science to drive ticket pricing, inventory management, and revenue forecasting across ticketing, retail, and marketing. The Director of Data Science will guide advanced analytics, mentor the BI team, and partner with leaders to translate complex data into actionable business insights.

The role combines strong technical expertise with business acumen, leading and developing a high-performing team while hands-on in analytics and implementation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years of leading or mentoring analysts or data scientists.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python and/or R with production-quality models.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical strategies for pricing, inventory, and revenue forecasting across ticketing and retail.
• Develop models and decision-support tools for pricing, demand, and customer behavior.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards for stakeholders.
