Job summary

The Sacramento Kings are seeking a Business Intelligence Intern to assist in reporting, CRM administration, data automation, and predictive modeling within the Business Intelligence department.

The role supports the team in delivering actionable insights to strengthen fan engagement, ticket sales, and events for the Kings, Stockton Kings, and Golden 1 Center. This is a part-time, non-exempt internship through Oct 2026-27 season.

Qualifications

• College majors preferred in Computer Science, Physics, Math, Statistics or related field.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Understanding of CRM principles, sales pipeline management, sales operations best practices.
• Database experience is preferred.
• Predictive modeling experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively about solutions to complex problems.
• Desire for continued learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Create actionable insight through analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, with recommendations aligned to business objectives.
• Conduct quantitative analysis to review historical sales performance and inform future sales strategy.
• Help compile data and run analyses for reporting and analytics initiatives, ongoing or ad-hoc.
• Assist in data warehouse efforts focused on data automation and integration between source systems.
• Utilize statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to inform decisions across ticket sales, marketing, and other areas.
• Assist in day-to-day administration of Salesforce including user management, data hygiene and data manipulation.
• Assist in driving Salesforce reporting through dashboards, pipelines, views, and reports.
• Support the execution and reporting of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
