Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions seeks a Director of Data Science to lead Finance Transformation, Analytics and AI initiatives. You will partner with finance, technology and business teams to elevate reporting and forecasting, and implement trusted data science solutions.

You will coach a high-performing team, define success metrics, measure impact, and stay current with industry trends to deliver measurable financial and operational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 7–10 years in data science/analytics with leadership in cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with finance data, reporting processes, and enterprise financial systems (ERP, planning, or financial reporting).
• Strong skills in statistics, forecasting, experimentation, machine learning, Python, and SQL.
• Experience deploying and monitoring data products or models in production with attention to accuracy, auditability, and controls.
• Experience with MLOps, generative AI evaluation, and data governance in regulated environments.
• AWS application development experience (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, Cognito, CloudWatch, IAM, Secrets Manager).

Responsibilities

• Develop a data science roadmap for financial systems aligned with finance priorities and business objectives.
• Partner with finance leadership to identify high-value opportunities, define success measures, and communicate results.
• Lead analytics, forecasting, anomaly detection, and automation across financial planning, reporting, and operations.

• Establish standards for data quality, model validation, documentation, access controls, and responsible AI in finance.
