Job summary

Avenzo Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Director, Data Management in the San Diego area or remote in the U.S. You will lead outsourced data management activities across clinical programs, ensuring data quality, regulatory compliance, and timely study milestones.

You will collaborate with Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Medical Writing, Regulatory Affairs, and QA to support development objectives, and drive process improvements while mentoring DM staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, data science, computer science or related field required with 10+ years of progressive clinical data management experience.
• Experience leading outsourced Clinical Data Management activities and vendors across multiple programs.
• Strong stake-holder management in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of outsourced Clinical Data Management activities across programs, ensuring high-quality data.
• Serve as a Data Management representative on cross-functional study teams and provide strategic input.
• Oversee CROs and third-party vendors, including performance management and risk mitigation.
• Ensure timely execution of database build, data review, reconciliation, query management, and database lock.
