Job summary

Relativity, the leading legal data intelligence company, is seeking a Director of Product Management, Data Intelligence Foundation. You will own the full PM layer across multiple engineering orgs, shaping the platform that enables AI workflows over legal data.

You will define substrates for Files/Natives, Ontology/Relationships, Data Capabilities, Knowledge/Metadata, and the Query Plane, ensuring fast, reliable retrieval and scalable foundations for Relativity aiR applications.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in product management; 5+ years leading platform or infrastructure PM organizations
• Deep fluency with data platform primitives, including storage systems, metadata layers, knowledge graphs, query engines, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Own the full PM layer across multiple engineering orgs.
• Define substrate for Files / Natives: immutable legal data surface with SLAs, access contracts, and API surface.
• Define Ontology / Relationship layer: entities, relationships, and contracts for shared vocabulary.
• Oversee Data Capabilities: reporting, audit, and internal data infrastructure.
• Shape Knowledge / Metadata: unified materialized document layer across workspaces.
• Lead Query Plane: unified retrieval pillar with lexical + vector, chunking, and tiered storage.
