Job summary

Vantage Data Centers Management Company LLC in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking a Director, Site Operations to lead two data center campuses, ensuring uptime, safety, and peak performance of critical infrastructure across power, cooling, and building systems.

You will manage senior teams, oversee budgets, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with Engineering, Security, IT and Customer Success to align operations with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical discipline preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mission-critical facilities.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale data center or critical infrastructure operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and financial acumen.
• Ability to partner with clients, vendors and executive leadership in high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for day-to-day operations of two data center campuses.
• Ensure uptime, safety, and efficiency of critical infrastructure.
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets; track OPEX and CAPEX.
• Direct senior operations staff and ensure adequate staffing for reliability and incident response.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, ISO and other standards; manage audits and certifications.
• Engage with clients and senior stakeholders; provide executive-level reporting on status and risk.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and monitoring enhancements.
