Job summary

Rowan Digital Infrastructure seeks a Director of Site Development to lead the evaluation and advancement of data center development activities across its project portfolio. You will determine which sites to pursue, advance them through due diligence and entitlements, and deliver them into leasing and construction pipelines aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 10+ years leading large-scale site development projects.
• Proven success negotiating commercial agreements including land control, energy, water/wastewater, and economic development agreements.
• Experience collaborating with AHJs, utilities, and economic development agencies to advance complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong cross-functional leadership with responsibility for strategy, budgets, schedules, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end site development for a portfolio of data center projects from due diligence to construction start with stakeholder engagement and risk management.
• Negotiate land acquisitions and development agreements to support project advancement.
• Coordinate with engineering, legal, planning and other teams to evaluate sites.
• Oversee permitting, entitlements, due diligence and pre-construction workstreams.
• Serve as liaison with AHJs, landowners, authorities, and vendors for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with energy, fiber, finance, water & wastewater and economic development teams to address risks.
• Communicate project value and strategic fit to leadership and customers.
• Represent projects internally and externally with clear updates to leadership.
