Job summary

DC BLOX is seeking a Director of Data Center Community Relations to serve as the main ambassador in communities where data center projects exist or are planned. You will build trust with local officials, stakeholders, and residents, while communicating DC BLOX's vision and investments.

You will lead engagement with government, media, and community groups, coordinating with corporate communications to ensure consistent messaging and proactive outreach throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in community relations, public affairs, or stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to build relationships with government officials, community leaders, and media.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact between the company and the local community.
• Develop and maintain relationships with elected officials, municipal leaders, and community stakeholders.
• Represent the company at community, civic, business, and media events.
• Foster trust and credibility through consistent engagement and transparent communication.
• Coordinate engagement with government officials with the Public Affairs Director.
• Present and align the company’s Community Promise with local needs to guide projects.
