You will manage a portfolio of top-tier corporations, cultivate CEO-level relationships, and drive six- and seven-figure revenue partnerships aligned with ACS mission priorities. This role requires strategic leadership, exceptional communication, and a proven track record in corporate engagement and team management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years successful fundraising/corporate engagement experience with high-value partnerships.
  • Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Execute market corporate engagement strategy to renew/enhance partnerships and develop new relationships.
  • Primary relationship manager for priority corporations and CEOs with pipeline development and donor cultivation.
  • Align corporate initiatives with ACS priorities and achieve income goals, including six- and seven-figure partnerships.
  • Drive corporate alliances through employee/executive engagement and nationwide fundraising activities.
  • Oversee high-level donor recognition programs and collaborate with internal teams on donor cultivation.
  • Partner with operations to ensure successful program execution and performance feedback.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Executes the market corporate engagement strategy, focused on renewing/enhancing existing partnerships and developing new relationships with target corporations to achieve revenue and mi ssion targets . 1 0%

  • Serves as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of priority corporations, corporate foundations, CEOs, C-Suite executives and other high impact individuals with responsibility for prospect research, pipeline development, recruitment, cultivation, and retention . 5 %

  • Aligns corporations and CEO affinities and needs with ACS priorities and events to achieve individual income goals, support enterprise goals, and to further our impact to mission programs and services, with a focus on securing six-figure and 7 figure revenue partnerships . 1 5 %

  • Drives comprehensive corporate alliances through employee - executive engagement, corporate foundation gifts, nationwide consumer engagement opportunities, network fundraising activities and mission funding opportunities 4 0 %

  • Oversees the delivery of high-level constituent experience and recognition programs in order to cultivate new expanded opportunities; Collaborates with internal team members on the ongoing cultivation of existing donor relationships 10%

  • Partners with account operations and support functions to ensure successful corporate program execution, including tracking, planning, implementation and continuous performance feedback . 5 %

  • to provide support with Fortune 500 account management and region level execution as part of a coordinated corporate engagement effort. 5%

  • Monitors and fosters behavior that establishes a culture that values the staff/volunteer partnership, and is consistent with the cultural beliefs and values of the Society 5%

  • Ensures regional staff and volunteers reflect the diversity of the communities served by the region and creates and reinforces an environment of inclusion. 5%


EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree

  • Years of experience: 5 years successful experience in fundraising, corporate engagement, and executive relationship development with distinguished partners, preferably with a multi- million dollar organization.

  • Driver’s License Requirement ( s ): Required.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:


  • Established ability to build and cultivate relationships and influence strategies and techniques for high level corporate executives, community leaders, high net worth individuals, and diverse constituents.

  • Knowledge of product marketing/sales concepts.

  • Outcome driven with ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities.

  • Demonstrated success with managing a team of high-end relationship /account managers. Ability to manage and motivate groups and individuals.

  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong market, community and constituent perspective.

  • Broad knowledge of the overall structure, programs, and services of the American Cancer Society including policies and procedures.

  • Remains composed under stress, handles responses to criticism tactfully and delivers on organizational commitments.

  • Ability to analyze and integrate information from relevant sources.

  • Proficient in computer-based information systems.

  • Excellent project management, planning, and organization skills. Strong strategic planning skills.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Limited overnight travel within the area and to region/enterprise meetings and events


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment

  • No or very limited physical effort required

  • No or very limited exposure to physical risk


The starting rate is $110,000 to $120,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
