Job summary

Jackson Healthcare in Alpharetta, GA seeks a Director, Risk & Insurance to manage the corporate insurance program for 22 operating companies, owning broker relationships and renewal activity. You will coordinate with the captive manager, review quotes and endorsements, and supervise one or two associates while reporting to the Chief Risk Officer.

A strong brokerage or corporate risk background is required; CPCU preferred; you will communicate with senior leadership and drive strategic risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive insurance or risk management experience.
• Experience managing corporate insurance placements and broker relationships.
• Familiarity with Risk Management Information Systems; Origami Risk is a real plus.
• CPCU or similar designation strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead and coach one or two associates.

Responsibilities

• Own broker and carrier relationships across all lines of coverage.
• Lead corporate renewals and placements, manage calendars and data submissions.
• Review quotes and endorsements for accuracy before binding.
• Coordinate with captive manager and broker on program operations.
• Provide day-to-day direction to junior staff and review their work.
• Prepare renewal summaries and reports for leadership.
• Be the primary insurance contact for 22 operating companies.
